Laurence C. Zale, President, believes that his role as a visual arts advisor merely begins with bringing together a Pop Art enthusiast with a Warhol silkscreen, an antiquarian with a Tiffany favrile lamp, or a numismatist with an 1895 Morgan Dollar. He is fluent in both the aesthetics and the business of owning visual art and collectibles, and works in tandem with a network of specialists. This enables Laurence C. Zale Associates, Inc. to develop a customized plan, solely for your benefit, for the present and future management of your collection.

Inextricable from one’s passion for collecting painting, drawing, sculpture, photographs, furniture, jewelry & gems, antiques, sports memorabilia, wine, or automobiles, are issues including authenticity, provenance, market conditions, and taxation.

For over twenty years, Mr. Zale has successfully managed the collections of many individuals, families, corporations, and charitable organizations. After completing his undergraduate work at Washington University in St. Louis, Mr. Zale earned postgraduate degrees from New York University, and The Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London. A frequent speaker and writer on connoisseurship and estate planning, Mr. Zale has taught at the Sotheby’s Art Business program in New York. In addition to being a visual arts advisor, Mr. Zale is a vice chairman of the board at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York.
